This is a beautiful lake! It's a mile long, and not very wide, so on a good day it's easy to kayak the entire lake. There's a boat launch area, and two piers to fish from, side by side.
The Cliff Notes
- GPS Coords - 41.383716 -76.6207929 (about 40 miles north of Watsontown PA)
- Launch Permits are required to kayak here.
- PFBC Site for Hunters Lake
- Nearby - less than 10 minutes from Angel Falls, and Ticklish Rock was "on the way".
- There's no cell service in this area
Dan's kayak is pulled in between those two tree sumps, so he could find the geocache here.
There are no picnic tables here, but there is a porta potty, and there is a small grassy area where we could put down a blanket and have our picnic before kayaking.
