"Get The Tree Day" is an official holiday at our house, and it's probably my absolute favorite holiday. From the time the kids were little, they would each take turns sawing down the tree. When Luke went off to the air force, the first year he missed out on Get the Tree Day - he skyped us while we cut down the tree.

We visit Ponduce every year - it's a beautiful location! Cookies, photo spots (cut outs and often a sleigh) , a Christmas barn with antiques and ornaments, a great little restaurant with all sorts of cookies and canned items for sale.. it's always a fun stop. They have both cut your own trees, and pre-cut trees - but the selection overall can be a bit more limited than some of the other farms. Personally, we go every year, but we have a back up plan for another place to cut a tree, just in case.

Tagging begins at the 49 Boston Road, Picture Rocks location this Saturday, October 25! Tagging is available 7 days a week during daylight hours. Please remember — pre-tagging is only permitted at this location, and we kindly ask that you follow the posted guidelines when tagging in the parking lot. While we’ve been working hard all year to grow beautiful trees, Mother Nature had a few surprises for us this year! Between summer flooding and fall drought conditions, we unfortunately lost some trees ranging from 12 inches to 6 feet tall. To help meet demand, we’ll be bringing in a limited number of gorgeous trees from a trusted friend’s farm — so there will still be plenty of great trees to choose from! 🌱 Our future is still bright with thousands of young trees thriving and growing beautifully in our fields. They just need a few more years to mature! We’re so grateful for your continued support and can’t wait to help your family find the perfect Christmas tree this season!
