Groves Mill has been in continuous operation as a commercially operating water powered mill since 1784. The grain processing equipment used at the mill is more than 100 years old.
The Grove Mill was one of the stops on the 2015 UCHS & SPOOM Water Mill Bus tour.
Built in 1774 by Mr Bear as a flour mill, it was sold to Mr Chamberlin in 1790. In 1860 it was purchased by Cyrus Hoffa, and that family owned it until they sold it to C. H. Witmer in 1910.
Harry Grove, an employee at the mill, purchased it in 1948 when Mr Witmer died. Today the mill is owned and operated by Curt Falck.
