Indian Head Rock Formation near Catawissa
Referred to as "Profile Rock" on many early postcards, this formation is still very visible today.
It's located along Rt 42, between Bloomsburg & Catawissa
N 40° 57.584', W 76° 28.150'
The canal is shown here beside the railroad tracks, and the North Branch of the Susquehanna is to the right of the canal. The road was later widened, and the railroad tracks were removed.
