The Morgan Valley Road Album, Out Of The Shell
[Album Found On Amazon]
The Morgan Valley Road Band, from Williamsport Pennsylvania, began playing together in 1974.

"Back in the 1980's when the Prince Farrington Great Race was still be held every summer the MVRB would be playing at the finish line of the race. Always a good party after the race. "

In 1978, the band was Douglas Banks on Piano, Steve Hulslander on guitar, tenor banjo & vocals, Terry Wile on cornet Mandolin, harmonica and vocals, Bob Garret on fender bass and vocals, and Lou Feist on percussion.

The band performed live radio broadcasts including old time radio shows with a professional regional theater ensemble.
At least two albums were made, one titled Out of The Shell, and the other One For The Road.

The groups music "runs the gamut from Beethoven to Fats Waller - Scott Joplin to Bob Dylan."

Hear some of their music on their Youtube channel:

The band is featured in Pilato's Inspiration Lycoming Mural, on 4th Street in Williamsport.

The back of the Out Of The Shell Album lists members as Douglas Banks, Steve Hulsander, Terry Wild, Bob Garret, and Marty Walker.
