Betty's Coffee Pot, Lewisburg Pa

Betty's Coffee Pot at Sunset Village

There used to be a large coffee pot in Lewisburg Pa.  It's long gone now, but some do remember it being somewhere in the area near what was until recently, Country Cupboard.

In May of 1940, Mr & Mrs William Eberly took charge of Betty's Coffee Pot, one mile north of Lewisburg on Route 404.  Mrs Eberly was the former Miss Bertha Stassner.

Prior to 1941, US 15 ran on the east [Milton] side of the river, between Harrisburg and Williamsport.  On the west [Lewisburg] side of the river, the road as 404.  In 1941, US 15 was rerouted to the western [Lewisburg] side of the river.  The road on the Milton side of the river became PA 14.

In 1939, it had been operated by Miss Flavia Sesinger

Note - There are remains of stone cottages further north, near John Kelley Road, but those are from a different travelers park, Stone Villa Haven
