The New Berlin Covered Bridge

 
The New Berlin Covered Bridge, crossing Penns Creek,  was destroyed by the 1936 flood.
(In the above photo, the town of New Berlin is in the background)

 The two span Burr Truss Bridge was built in 1878 by Peter Keefer.

On the New Berlin side, the road from the bridge rose quicly up a slope, past Water Street.
