MORE FROM PAST YEARS

A Couple Of Route [Tour] Suggestions:

  • Williamsport Area - Do the walk through on Northway Road in Williamsport, then Drive over to the display on Hollywood Circle in Williamsport, then go  to Candy Cane Lane, and the incredible walk through display in Linden.  It's a lot for one night - especially if the line for Candy Cane Lane is long - but it's do-able.  Details for each location are below.
  • Joy Through The Grove Night - When we go to Knoebels for Joy Through The Grove, we also stop at the golf course on the way in  - Santa is there, there are a couple of food vendors, and I love seeing the train set up here.  Then we go through Joy Through the Grove, head over to Tharptown for the walk through display, and over to Riverside for the house set to music.   Again, details for each are below.
  • Milton - Go to the Kerstetter House (near the cemetery) then over to the display at Crossroads in Montandon, and the Octagon House in Montandon, and then drive out Housels Run on the south side of town - typically a lot of the houses through there have nice displays.

The Reindeer Farm Has Moved!  But they still frequently have reindeer visits in our area.  Follow their page here:

See more photos from our visit to their farm, when it was in the Muncy Hills in 2021, here:

The Terrace in Williamsport is just one house - but it's pretty amazing!
The Christmas Light Display at Hollywood Circle in Williamsport. The lights are incredible - and the wings on all of the angels move!
(Will these go up in 2023? I don't know - let me know if you see them!) My suggestion, for those of you who wish to see Candy Cane Lane this year, is to start with the walking tour of lights at Jim Short Park on Northway Rd. From there, head over to see the Terrace on Hollywood circle, and the streets nearby are full of great light displays as well. Then drive to Newberry, and cross the river there to head to Candy Cane Lane. We did this this week-end, and from our side, there were 4 cars waiting to get to Candy Cane Lane. We only had to wait a few minutes. As we left, cars were lined up for more than a mile in the other direction!

Christmas Corner in South Williamsport
(On your left as you head towards the bridge)
In 2022, some of their Halloween Blow Molds were stolen.  The display was taken down, and its very possible there will be no Christmas display this year.  :-(
