Eye's Through The Disrupt - An Escape Room Geocache

Datruck At The Eye's Through Disrupt Geocache
In Sullivan County Pa

Normally I would give you links, or at least the GC Code, for a cache like this, but I feel like the cache owner went to great lengths to set this cache up a certain way, so it wouldn't be accessed or ruined by non geocachers. With the amount of work that must have gone into this, that is understandable!   It's located in Sullivan County Pa, and it's in the general area of Mildred.  That should be enough information for a geocacher to find the series.

For those of you who are wondering what on earth Geocaching is, this particular cache is so unique that it's really not a good example.  For more about what geocaching is, go here:
https://susquehannavalley.blogspot.com/2019/03/what-is-geocaching.html  In our family, Dan is the avid geocacher.  He has quite a few hides, a lot of them gadget caches, in our area.  I'm the historian and waterfall addict who geocaches with him to find the interesting, weird, and fun things along the way.

None of the photos below here are spoilers - my goal is to show you how awesome this cache is, without ruining the experience of finding it on your own.

Parking are for the first 7 parts of the geocache

This geocache is an 8 part series. First you take a stroll in the state game lands, on a wide old road.  There you will find 7 geocaches, some of which may, or may not, have clues as to where to find cache #8.

A beautiful walk in the woods.  The first 7 caches are all easy finds along this path.

Once you find all 7,  you should know where to find cache #8.  Walk back to your car, and drive to the location...  where you will find a two room escape room on private property.

A closer look at the signs on the door

To log cache #8, you have to figure out how to get into (and out of) not only the building, but also the second room in this escape room.   The logbook for the cache is in the second room.

The level of detail in this cache is AMAZING.

I promise, it's not too difficult, the cache owner has designed this to be a lot of fun, but has not made it overly difficult to solve.

It is however, a little claustrophobic, scary for young children, and not climate controlled - so a little hot and stuffy in the summer time.  Be prepared.
