When A Small Plane Crashed In Millville, 1957

 Mrs. Wallace Eves and Mrs William Kinzie were talking under a  maple tree by the Eves home, when a small plane crashed right into that tree.
No one was injured in the crash. A nearby painters ladder was brought to the scene, and D.W. Woolcock and his seven year old daughter were able to climb down safely.

The plane was jointly owned by Woolcock and Maurice Eyer. It was demolished.





D.W. Woolcock owned Woolcock Oil in Millville.

In August of 1965, a plane traveling from Philadelphia to Montoursville crashed over Millville. The crash, which was fatal for 23 year old pilot Larry Charles Feaster of Williamsport, was caused by a flock of Canadian geese.
