Logan Mills Covered Bridge

Logan Mills Covered Bridge is the last remaining covered bridge in Clinton County, Pa.

It's located on Logan Mills Road



Right beside the old Logan's Mill.

At Logan Mills, over Fishing Creek, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. 

Built circa 1873. 20 paces long.

Between Eastville and Carroll, over Fishing Creek, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Bridge is 45 feet long and made of hewn timber and wooden pegs.





The bridge, built  in 1874, is  55-foot-long (17 m) 12-foot-wide (3.7 m), Queen post truss bridge crosses Fishing Creek, southwest of Longanton Pa.


According to a 1979 article in the Danville News, when the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places:
"The Queenpost truss is unusually Shallow, being only approximately six to eight feet...  Neither the designer and builder, nor the reason for using so small a truss are known. "

The bridge was renovated in 2002 at a cost of $986,000, and a dedication ceremony was held in 2003 when the renovations were complete. The Sugar Valley Historical society had picture frames and deacons benches made from the replaced boards.
