The Dewart Covered Bridge, and the Russell Farm
(Is the building in the middle the Dewart Academy?)

This was north of Dewart, where River Road crosses the Warrior Run Creek.

This photo gives a better view of the location.

The Dewart Covered Bridge was built in 1882 by Samuel L. Culp and was destroyed on June 22, 1972 by tropical storm Agnes (1972 flood)

It was a single-span covered bridge with multi-king post trusses and it crossed Delaware Run.
