They also played at the Tri-County Farmers Picnic at DeWitt park, in August of that year.  The Danville News reported: "The Exchange band was organized only last fall. Yesterday afforded the second occasion in which it had ever played away from home and was the second time that it had ever marched. The band played well. "

 Recently  I was given access to a collection of old band photos.  Rather than stick them in a folder for later, I'm going to put them all online quickly, and then I can come back and fill in the histories at a later date.
