Valley Christmas Ornaments

"Christmas Memories Of" Valley Ornaments

I've picked these up one by one at local thrift stores over the years - as of 2022, I have an entire tree of these in our hallway.    The three shown here are Kleckners in Montandon, The Train Station in Milton, and the Montgomery House in Danville.  For several towns, these were released each year for nearly a decade, with a different landmark featured each year.  I believe I have 12 from Sunbury alone.    They were frequently sold as a fundraiser, with the proceeds helping to fund various Christmas decorations and activities in the towns.

This one is different from the others, and so shiny it's hard to photography.
On the back it reads:
Memories Of Christmas in the Warrior Run Area
First Edition

The horse & sleigh was added to Watsontown's Christmas decorating in 1987

Also, Rick Wolf , of Watsontown Glass, makes a historical glass ornament each year. (On the tree above, they are the ones with the etched images)  They come with in depth histories printed and included, and make fantastic Christmas gifts!
