July 15th 1907, the "Lewistown Local Ill-Fated Train" wrecked for the 3rd time in two weeks. This was the same train that collided with the Buffalo Flyer on July 2nd.  It then collided with a work train several days later, and on the 15th, wrecked for a 3rd time at Selinsgrove Junction.

The Danville Morning News reported: "Lewistown local seems to be the most ill-fated train entering Sunbury and railroad men are beginning to regard it with suspicious dread."
