East Lycoming Historical Society in Hughesville | There is a history museum in Norry [Town of Northumberland, in the county of Northumberland] located at 175 Orange Street, in the borough building. It's quite nice - but I've only ever been in during events, I'm not certain of their hours. |

- Columbia County Historical Society 225 Market St Bloomsburg. Open Tue, Thur, Fri & Sat - Check Website for hours. No monthly program?
- Degenstein History Buffs - Meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 2pm, at the Degenstein Library Community Room in Sunbury. Free and open to the public.
- East Lycoming Historical Society - Active Facebook Page, Museum in Hughesville open to the public, occasional programs
- Fort Freeland Heritage Society (Watsontown Area) Hosts events, including the Strawberry Festival and Heritage Days
- History Buffs Breakfast Group - no website, no facebook. Meeting details are published in the Sullivan Review newspaper. Group is a combination of Lycoming and Sullivan County area, primarily. [formerly met in Jamison City, until the restaurant closed] Now meets on the 3rd Monday of each month, breakfast is followed by a speaker who begins at 9am.
- Lycoming County Genealogical Society - Programs are free and open to the public. Held on the fourth Saturday in March, April, May, September, October & November, at the Thomas T. Taber Museum 858 W. 4th St Williamsport
- Milton Historical Society - Hosts programs and lectures at varying times. Monthly lectures held at the Milton High School , Jan-March. Museum open houses typically held in the warmer months. Monthly meetings are not open to the public and are business only.
- Montgomery Historical Society Adam Museum located in the bottom level of the library. Opens April 1st. Monthly meeting includes a program, and is free and open to the public. Held on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
- Montour County Historical Society - Typically there is a monthly meeting, in the past the cost has been $5 a person to attend. No schedule has yet been announced for 2023.
- Muncy Historical Society - No events currently scheduled
- Northumberland County Historical Society Museum [at Fort Augusta] Open MWF 1-4pm. Programs have been moved to Sunday afternoons in 2023. 2pm on the third Sunday.
- Snyder County Historical Society - No programs currently announced, watch for updates later this spring.

- Sullivan County Historical Society - Sporadic programs, watch their facebook page for updates.
- Taber Museum
- Union County Historical Society also has a website here. No upcoming meetings, nor events, appear to be scheduled at this time. [Watch the Downtown Lewisburg Facebook Page - they have been posting occasional events at the former Packwood house building, using that page]
- Watsontown Historical Society - moving into new building, hope to have museum open in August of 2023. Monthly meetings are business meetings.
