Deer Lake is a rustic lake in Sullivan County PA. It is an 18 acre lake, owned by the Dwight Lewis Lumber Company. No boats are permitted on the lake, but fishing is allowed.
If you hike to Ticklish Rock, this is the lake you can see while enjoying the view up there.
There's a well worn sign posted near the parking area.
The outhouses (now full of junk) and this old fireplace lead me to believe this was once a much more used area? Possibly it was a logging camp. So far I have found no history of this lake. If you know more about it, I would love to hear from you!

Our kayaks were loaded to kayak on Hunters Lake later in the day, boating is not permitted on this lake.
