Bear Run Falls, State Game Lands 13

Bear Run [Sometimes Labeled Big Falls] is right along the road.  No hiking at all to see this one!

Right Nearby:

• Sullivan Falls (very short walk to view, steep & slippery to the bottom)
• Big Falls  - Steep climb to the bottom, cannot be seen from the top.

There's a small pull of parking area at the top of the falls.

From 118, take Central Road to Jamison City Road:

Big Falls is on one side of the creek, and to see it is a steep climb down.    Sullivan Falls has a large, well marked parking area, and after a very, very short walk, the falls are visible.  There's a really slippery section to get to the bottom, but someone has strung up some ropes that make it much easier to descend, and get back out.  Bear Run Falls you can see from your car.  There's no real way to get to the bottom safely, but you can see them well from the top.
