Alpine Falls

Parking 41.48478, -76.54538
Falls 41.47822 -76.55341

The Alpine Falls are located along the Loyalsock Trail. Walk roughly .6 of a mile back Big Run Trail (an old, overgrown, logging road) then turn right onto the well marked Loyalsock Trail. From there, it is a bit of a scramble down the hill to see the falls. I'm sure the climb down was made much worse by all of the recent rain in this area - and this was our 4th hike of the day, so we were getting a little tired at this point. :-)

There are at least two tiers to the falls
On our way back out from the falls, a bear lumbered across the path in front of us. He paid no attention to us, thankfully, and was gorgeous to see. (I did not get a photo, he was fairly quick, and I was too busy watching him, and the dogs)
