Sones Pond, in the Loyalsock Forest near Worlds End, is a popular spot for fishing, is opened to non powered boats, including kayaks. It features a variety of picnic tables, public bathrooms, plenty of parking, and part of the Loyalsock trail is nearby. There are also several waterfalls in the nearby area.

Beside the small pavilion is a tall blueberry bush, which contributed berries to our picnic lunch.
The many spruce trees here were planted by CCC camp #95.
